Job Summary:
Responsible for oversight and coordination of program management information systems operations for all NTM-A program reporting. Reports to the NTM-A Operations Officer and coordinates with various NTM-A staff elements. Operational field experience required.
Principal Accountabilities:
The Program Management Information Systems (PMIS) Coordinator is responsible for the following:
Manages reports resources effectively and efficiently with Information Technology in support of all NTM-A programs.
Maintains automated collection and tracking of data metrics.
Coordinates NTM-A program reporting structure and processes.
Collaborate with NTM-A Quality Assurance / Quality Control and program management to define reporting requirements and specifications.
Conceptualize applications with development teams including database developers to integrate reporting solutions and changes based on the NTM-A contract deliverables.
Provide technical expertise and assistance to NTM-A staff and the customer on data criteria.
Develop, design, and test processes for new reporting requirements in the NTM-A program.
Support of database management and performance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge and experience in civilian law enforcement and/or US Military organizational structures.
Possess strong managerial and organizational skills.
Must have the ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt effective courses of action. Exercises sound administrative judgment in order to maintain effective organization workflow.
Must be flexible and handle multiple tasks in a high stress environment.
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office software and applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Experience with Oracle, SQL, or any relational database, HTML and/or Visual Basic.

Physical Requirements:
Primary duty station(s) are located in Afghanistan.
Place of duty and environmental conditions can be extremely austere, harsh, and work can be performed under hostile and life-threatening conditions.
Afghanistan air quality is extremely poor and those with breathing problems or skin disease should not be recommended for this position.
Primary duty location is Kabul, Afghanistan, but travel to other NTM-A locations throughout Afghanistan may be required.
Experience:
Required:
Five (5) years experience with Information Technology environment with strong background in software and infrastructure that includes two (2) years experience in a supervisory or project management role.
Must have initiative to respond to unexpected situations and the ability to work in a professional manner with program management personnel and military organizations.
Education:
Required:
Four (4) year Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, Masters Degree is preferred. An associated degree with two (2) years of previous experience in a Civilian Police (CIVPOL), or other similar overseas program may be substituted for a college degree.
