Procurement Officer



Job Summary:





Overseas the procurement process related to individual projects within DynCorp International Purchasing.





Principal Accountabilities:



� Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and other practices set forth by upper management directives.

� Responsible for maintaining department budgets and forecast

� Purchasing the requested and approved items in time and in best deal quality/price. All purchase should always be in the best interest of DI and DI Government Customers.

� Obtain delivery of the quantity and quality of products and/or service needed at the required conditions. Negotiate different aspects like price, schedule, place and method of delivery packing, technical attributes, etc.

� Ensure fair and open competition with equal treatment of all suppliers.

� Comply with all applicable government and commercial procurement policies. Standard Operating Procedures and adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

� Preparing and reviewing all the POs and MRs issued under procurement department.

� Submitting, on a weekly base, a financial report to Finance Department with the required information.

� Updating and submitting on a monthly bas, a PO and MR report to top Management.

� Perform other related or ad hoc duties as directed/required within the established project guidelines.

Knowledge & Skills:





Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations



Excellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills.



Knowledge of various computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)





Education:





Bachelor�s degree in an associated discipline. . Two years in procurement or related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
